Trans Women Pose NO THREAT to Women’s Sports
Students at the University of Central Florida talk sex and gender
In the first part of this conversation, Peter Boghossian presents two students at the University of Central Florida with three claims: “There are only two genders,” “There are only two sexes,” and “It’s possible to change sex.” They discuss reproductive organs, genetics, the difference between sex and gender, and potential consequences of expressing opinions on the topic.
In the second part, a third student joins the group to consider the claim, “Trans women should be allowed in women’s sports.” The new participant argues that male and female skeletons are generally indistinguishable and that swimmer Lia Thomas proves that trans women are not a threat to biological women in sports.
