At Flinders Station in Melbourne, Australia, Peter Boghossian presented the claim, “Gender is different from sex.” The ensuing discussion drew a crowd of onlookers. Midway through, a man disrupted the conversation and compared women’s free speech to Nazism.
Two female passersby and Richard from Common Ground Conversations participated in the SSE exercise. The women presented similar viewpoints about gender identity, both proposing that the subjective feeling of gender outweighs objective standards regarding anatomy, genetics, or hormonal profile. One woman stated that a doctor should know a patient’s “sex assigned at birth”; in every other case, biology is irrelevant.
Richard asserts that there are important differences between sex and gender identity, citing concern for women’s safety in shelters, prisons, changing rooms, and athletic competitions. He questions the purpose of female sports categories if not for the biological differences between men and women. In response, one woman proposes the removal of sex-based sports categories—even if this results in natal men outperforming natal women.
Does anyone else find it odd that the primary cohort objecting to women's right, sports, etc., is women, themselves?
Does anyone else see any path back to safe streets, good education, closed borders, reduced drug deaths (now at 100K annually and rising by 10%/yr), replacement or higher fertility, good family formation... other than repealing 19A? If so, please share. Thanks.
We should probably consult the Simpsons writers as they have been remarkably accurate in predicting what they thought at the time was sheer satire/comedy.
Now we can add the BB.
Women have become their own worst enemies. I will also note here that the most toxic commentaries blasting conservatives as whites supremacists comes from college indoctrinated white women.
It strikes me that they need some way of demonizing anyone who holds ideas that make them fell uncomfortable. It’s their way of feeling not only superior but relevant.
