I don’t care if LA burns as long as no federal funds ever subsidize the rebuilding of any part of it.

Poor decision making on their part should never require me to prepare a soft cushy landing place for them to pancake into.

If they get bailed out by some Federal slush fund then they will continue to believe in the fake virtue signaling reality they created.

I'm sure they did not want LA to burn, but it did burn. They got exactly what they wanted, more minority firefighters. The consequence of this was the LA burned. Moving forward, what have they done to mitigate the likelihood of catastrophic fires? If nothing, then they have again made their choice.

Implement irrational ideas like DEI, and watch havoc unfold, often fatally.

The dildo of consequences never arrives lubed.

Honest question: do the IDF and Mossad use DEI in hiring decisions and do they spend more and allocate time to DEI training? My hypothesis is that they do not. Their impressive competence stands in sharp contrast to our own eroding competence- fighters jet falling into the ocean off of aircraft carriers, helicopter flying into a commercial airplane in the airspace over our capitol city, much of ou second most populous city burning to the ground. Maybe it is worth examining the policies and habits of the IDF and Mossad to understand what makes them so good at what they do.

Or we could save our time and admit that DEI has never been about improving results, and has always been about one group’s definition of social justice. Even the arguments that DEI improves business outcomes is bunk. McKinsey made such a claim in a paper. I asked the author to share the source data and he refused.

I would be shocked if they did.
