Here’s our big news: We are adding frequent livestream conversations to our YouTube channel! If there’s anyone with whom you’d like me to speak live, just post their name, expertise, and a contact URL in the comments.
We’ve not abandoned pre-recorded conversations, but we’re a small nonprofit and the switch to livestream will save us a considerable amount of money. Moreover, SuperChats enable us to take in some money from the video—which all goes back into the nonprofit.
Livestream 1
Our first Livestream was on Tuesday, July 18. I had a conversation with my writing partner, James Lindsay.
Jim and I discussed: the epistemology of wokeness; the substitution hypothesis (stay tuned for my discussion with Richard Dawkins about this next week); whether we need stories to bind us together; James being called a conspiracy theorist; Queer Theory and gender-affirming care; ESG, and more!
Livestream 2
Our second Livestream was on Wednesday, July 19. I had a discussion with Oregon State Representative Ed Diehl.
Ed and I discussed: the video of his speech on the floor HB 2002 B Refer to Rules; “Gender Affirming Care”; healthcare for detransitioners; taxpayers funding “transitions”; buying into other people's delusions; the longest Oregon Senate walkout in history; political polarization; the importance of dialog across party lines and of getting involved at the local level; and, most importantly, living as a goat.
Livestream 3
Our third Livestream is today, Thursday, July 20, at 4:30PM PT with Stephanie Winn.
Here’s Stephanie’s bio: She’s the host of You Must Be Some Kind of Therapist podcast, and Associate Producer of NO WAY BACK: The Reality of Gender-Affirming Care. In Oregon, where she is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Stephanie has a small, online private practice called Real Talk Therapy PDX, offering Therapy Without Ideology. Stephanie has dedicated a portion of her career towards advocating for the needs of survivors of gender malpractice, and families that have been impacted by the ideological capture of the counseling profession.
Again, thank you for your support and please do let us know who I should speak with next!
Peter
Peter, you will be censored on YouTube at some point. I highly recommend you at least backup your videos on Rumble.
Ask Chris Hedges about free speech when it comes to Alphabet corporate policy....
Please move your videos to Rumble.
I'm trying to avoid the bandits at YouTube--and Rumble doesn't censor.
