In San Juan, Puerto Rico, Peter Boghossian asked three men to consider the claim, “Preferred pronouns should always be respected.” The participants discussed grammar rules, language clarity, compelled speech, and the difference between belief and respect.
Potential limits to pronoun accommodation were considered, including the use of genderless neopronouns. One man suggested extracting words for new pronouns from Native American languages (with permission, of course, to avoid appropriation). All participants agree that pronouns should be determined by individual subjective feelings rather than objective standards.
No! Someone else’s pronouns are not my problem. Someone else’s sex life or sexuality, sexual or gender identity is not my problem either!
Pure unadulterated idiocy!!
