I plead the Woody Allen, "What's wrong with masturbation, it's sex with someone I love?" Don't our bodies nocturnal emission even if we don't give it a hand? Or is that @ 13, when I couldn't walk? Dunno, haven't stopped long enough. Ladies? Laddies?

Insects are alive and yet we aren't murders if we end the life of one. I get silliness but isn't this a little too on the nose?

Abortion involves ending the life of an unborn human being

Masturbation is no more murder then if a woman's egg somehow fails.

If I were there being asked this and I'd ask you were the hidden cameras are and what show this is b/c you'd never convince me someone serious about this fight would ask this of students then again maybe it's to show how absurd college kids are now.

Only if you are an ultra orthodox Jew and follow the Biblical prohibition against "spilling your seed." Don't know if other religions have it. A cautionary tale about an un-circumsised 4 year old one November in my Pre-K. He had his foreskin. European parents. He got into the habit of humping himself at nap time. His parents noticed he sometimes went to his room to hump if he felt pressured by his bossy older sister. (taught her too, not extreme, but he's the younger brother) During Thanksgiving break, he apparently overdid it. He woke up with is left leg completely swollen on Sunday. His parents notified the pediatrician who said it could be sepsis, I will meet you in the ER. They determined that blondie boy had damaged his foreskin and an infection went into his kidneys, the swelling was sepsis starting. Happy ending, an overnight on IV antibiotics and it all resolved. He got to spend rest time sitting in a chair reading for the rest of the year. Don't overdo, dudes! Also, hmmm, maybe that's why its a religious tenet in both Judaism and Islam. Some boy in antiquity took ill and died. Just sayin'

Yes, and the key, of course, is the participant's reasoning. I found the responses to their reasoning interesting, on the whole.
