Glenn has such an impressive mind and intellect. One of the things I love so much about his show is the way he peels the cover back and exposes the processes his mind goes through when considering where to fall on an issue. It's such a gift to those of us his audience because it demonstrates how we might go about our reasoning process in a more objective and considerate manner. I'm a big fan of him, his show, and John McWhorter as well.
One correction: the Reza Aslan book Glenn mentioned reading was actually “An American Martyr in Persia: The Epic Life and Tragic Death of Howard Baskerville”.
Great guest as usual, thank you for sharing and for mentioning the Federal Reserve! For more information on the Federal Reserve, I recommend G. Edward Griffin and Ron Paul.

Peter, This was the most personal interview with Prof. Loury (one of my personal and economic heroes, along with Thomas Sowell) I have witnessed. I was touched hearing about the loss of his first wife, and McCoy. Your questioning was revealing and Loury did not side-step anything. Not that I doubted his personal bravery. Lovely man.
Another excellent interview. "Living a life in good faith," he said. Couldn't be better said.
Every person interviewed here is smart, thinks deeply and carefully about what they are interested in, and has a strong enough sense of self to look for the truth. They all have such different experiences and are drawn to different subjects, but all are mature enough to put truth ahead of all else, ahead of popularity and money.
[big smile] Two of my favorite “disrupters” in one place.

Excellent discussion. Two of my favorite heterodox intellectuals ever. Glenn is next level brilliant.
Really interesting conversation as usual.

Thank you.

This is the most exciting Substack, I think.
