Agreed Elisa,

Vocation schools do a fantastic job of doing that exact thing.

Universities must be ALL what you expressed and more dont you think?

"Social Justice" is built on the presupposition that there is some sort of injustice in this world. It's a belief system. People with a faith that God is in control and there is some sort of higher, natural justice, or a belief in karma could disagree with the premise based on their beliefs/faith.

Because of this no school (unless private, faith-based) should be teaching social justice.

Your last paragraph, I would have to distance myself from just a bit.

I do get the inclination.

I would tier Social Justice exposure and education as students age. It seems to me, the inherent contradictions and hierarchical moral framework would expose developing minds to the opportunities at which parrhesia and epistemological skills development could flourish.

The exposure and "education" of Social Justice in our nations school's is enormously overloaded to the youngest possible.

I would suspect most people on this Substack have similar opinions about why that is.

Posting this, maybe just a reaffirming statement on my part. But honestly, i enjoy this area of conversation.

I found reading the comments under this opinion piece, interesting as well.

The American History Association (well at least the President) is grappling with teleological presentism. Tho, it may not be the specific lens of Social Justice, it seems a specific lens, none the less.

I realize this may be a short cut for expressing my opinion about the statement discussed.

But, simply this conclusion is just better expressed than I could write here.

Thank you again,to ALL involved with this endeavor. Great work.
