This danger to children is very, very true and real. As the only collector of data on trans widows, women who divorced suddenly demanding, crossdressing husbands--after the discovery, I've also been on the other end when the story of child endangerment is told. One from the state of Massachusetts is particularly disturbing. A man "going through transition" was seen shaking the 1 year old daughter he'd unintentionally fathered. Various illegal drugs were strewn about the home. The witness contacted me, asking if the Massachusetts child services would ignore a report about a "trans woman." I emailed back several times about her duty to call this in. She stopped responding and I never heard back. If this girl is alive, she'd be somewhere between 4 and 5 now.
Forgive any voice typing errors I'm in too much pain to correct anything but a friend of mine who is now 43 suffered such horrific abuse of every imaginable kind throughout her childhood and of course on into adulthood the likes of which are just incredible to hear and even she said calling CPS and the Foster system is worse than what she endured with horrific sexual abuse rape horrific physical abuse starvation the system is a nightmare and then there are some overzealous caseworkers like what happened to me when my son was depressed and in junior high and although he went from the hospital to a Subacute facility they threatened to send him to a residential home in handcuffs and I wanted to discharge him because if he had to go there I wasn't going to have him take him there like a prisoner but the Oregon caseworker decided to fax in an emergency custody order just because I had questions about some papers he wanted me to sign and I wanted to talk to a lawyer there are far too many narcissists Control Freaks and just utter sociopaths in the social work system it boggles the mind and I don't know what anybody can do about it to make anything any better but there has to be a better way to screen and monitor foster parents so that the bad ones don't get through and so that more good people are motivated to participate
It’s an international issue and Governments simply don’t enforce the rights Mothers and children have for adequate support in law. Nor are child care or support services or in home respite for caring available. This seems obviously to keep women available and cheaply to work unpaid for men (the male class). It’s a huge imbalance which kills plenty of women as well. Enslaving and entrapping both Mothers and children. I don’t think it’s a race issue it’s an institutionalised misogyny. So that’s where resources should go. Of course new partners don’t want men to support their ex or children either despite law here (in NZ at least their are laws from the 1970s which are simply ignored like the Property Relationship Act 1976 and others). Sadly the establishment have purposely reduced access to Justice and prohibitive costs means women often don’t have funds to enforce their rights and agencies empowered to simply won’t. The only rational reason for this I can think of or see is to oppress women keep both women and children enslaved for men to abuse and to keep labour free or cheap. So it’s a symptom of slavery and wage theft, human rights abuse across the world. The problem with enforcing some laws and not others is a problem when it’s consistently not enforced for Mothers and children except punitively. They need to do both well surely? Currently the Government is doing neither. So it’s a question of law for some and not others and constantly prejudiced against the rights of the most vulnerable or at risk of exploitation. So that has to change and THEN the law can act on more than just the basics they’re not doing now. The children deserved to have healthy happy and supported 24/7 care which is what it takes.

Please have Logan Lancing on your podcast. I think he can shine a light on a lot of the craziness we are experiencing in America.
His book is called The Queering of the American Child.

I'd be happy to. Thanks for the recommendation.

If I may ask, why are you in pain? Are you okay?
