Thank you for taking us on this Journey Peter. For me the most interesting discussion here, was on China. A little more of the curtain is pealed back! We are learning why the CCP does what it does. The philosophy. And yet, don’t we already know human nature? If anything, the magic of China is convincing people they have missed something they actually haven’t. Like religion. But Peter is on trail! How exciting!

China offers totalitarianism, the opposite of our constitutional republic. The CCP's goal is to destroy the U.S. by 2049, and it is doing everything it can to meet its widely proclaimed deadline.

You are certainly not alone in thinking this.

Morality is programmable for humans. As Pinker (or Haidt(?)) said, we have a rough draft, but it's pretty malleable after that. I think the Islamic religion will win out over the ccp religion (everything is a cult), China is not doing well, Nietzsche said God (ie, religion) is dead in the West. The U.N./Rockefeller/Wells theosophical cult will then take down Islam if people are allowed to keep their internets. Global governance and global religion. I think I remember this from school or something.

I’ve tried to leave comments three times and erased them all. I must say that if he represents the viewpoint of Europe’s leaders and I think he does, Europe is indeed dead. He is a civilizational cuckold.

I did appreciate his perspective on Chinese Culture although not his enthusiasm for it.
