What exactly is “epistemology”? The definition, the theory of knowledge, isn’t really a definition IMHO. Digging deeper it says it’s the study of how we “know” something vs “believe” something but aren’t both based on the same principles of observation, testing and being able to reproduce and if so why is one something e “know” vs something we “believe” like with how humankind came to exits?

Evolutionists say the we “know” that man evolved and yet how does one test that and/or reproduce that any more than how does a believer in Creation test or reproduce that? We aren’t at the technological level of being able to test and reproduce these so really aren’t both theories based on what we observe be it observation of history, teachings and or fossils? For Christians the Creation theory is based on what they observer and isn’t something that comes from nothing. As far as I know there’ been no finding of fossils of that famous missing link. I know there’s been a few proclaimed findings that later were debunked or are still in question. Had they actually found that fossil that would still raise the question of why has it taken so long to find just one of these when the missing link is so critical to complete the evolutionary puzzle? How is it we can find plenty of fossil of pre- missing link and after but that one that ties them together is sooo elusive?

Aren’t the theory or creation and of Evolution really what we “believe” more so than what we “know”? I believe both are feasible explanations for life on a planet. I lean towards creationism because unlike most atheists I don’t see it as some magic man in the clouds which I personally think is very derogatory for evolutionists to claim. If Christianity was about the belief that a higher dimensional being or just a far, FAR more advanced being seeded life on this planet and then provided some help along the way in the form of something non-advanced humans could comprehend like a God, I doubt the evolutionists would be so critical of the theory.

So what exactly is epistemology without saying it’s the theory of knowledge?

Thanks Peter

Notice how even with all the damage the Left has done recently to the economy women still lean left while men are going right; not my opinion but based on recent polls. Why is this? It’s back to biology. Women on avg will give up freedom & liberty for the promise of safety and security no matter how bad a track record the people making said promise of safety & security have. The democrats are loosing record numbers of supporters from every segment except women, specifically single women which tends to be women of Millennial age and younger. Groups that for generations have been pro-Democrat like the black community are turning to the right.

This is NOT going to be a popular opinion but it’s based on biology. Biological reality is why women should not be in governance. It’s not because no women can do the job properly as famous female leaders like Margaret Thatcher have proven, it’s that the majority will if left unchecked take a society down a path towards safety/security over freedom/liberty and that requires censorship and control; basically taking society to the point of totalitarianism. Women on average do not place liberty and freedom as a high priority like men do. At current the Democrats are losing large numbers of supporters in every group/segment save for one; women, especially Millennial aged and younger. Women are still supporting the Democrats while everyone else including traditionally pro-Democrat groups like blacks, are moving to the right. Why is that? It’s because single women which is primarily Millennial aged women and younger, view government as the husband. They will claim independence, being a boss baby, not needing no man and yet they still rely on government for things like protection such as with law enforcement. Women can't impose their will on men so they rely on men o help them and when their not married that often means government. My wife doesn’t count on the police stopping someone from trying to break into our home, she looks to me.

No one should be a feminist because feminism today, modern 3rd wave feminism is not about equality but power. Some believe it is about equality only and adhere to that part of it but it's clear that today it is about power. There is absolutely no right that men have that women do not and yet the reverse is not true. Women have special/preferential rights like affirmative action which gave women preferential treatment in hiring and in college entrance/acceptance. The counter claim could be it was necessary because women were being discrimated against and regardless if true or not the result was discrimination still but against men so in their eye's discrimination is OK but only if it's against men. When it comes to an abortion it takes 2 to make a baby and 2 are liable for the baby yet only 1 get’s to decide if the baby is kept or not and the man has no way to opt out of the woman’s choice. Want the child? Too bad she doesn't so deal with it. You don't want teh child but she does? Too bad you've got 18 years of child support just to start. If you don't marry her there will be more monetary penalties placed on you.

We don't have an equal treatment of teh sexes in society but it's really the men who are discrimated against today, not the women.

I'm going to go out on a limb as to why Peter used the boards at times. It was to keep each person from feeling the answer they gave had to be in alignment with what others say vs what the person genuinely believes. Humans are social creatures who want major group acceptance they will change their mind, even lie if it means acceptance just as the famous Solomon Ash experiment proves, something that has been successfully repeated numerous times. Within humans there is a significant difference with this between men (on avg) and women (on avg). Women seek acceptances more and will sacrifice more than men to be accepted by the group. Men are low in agreeableness and women are high in it. The only way to get true honest answers if the people can't give their only after they've heard others.

In my experience/observation, most young women today, those of the Millennial generation and after, despise biological reality because it conflicts with much of what feminism teaches.

Couldn’t get past the ridiculous game of “cos they want me dead.” Hmm which cult has actually referenced the Bible on repeat over the last 6 months AND murdered thousands? Hint: Amalek. The answer starts with a Z, not a J. People aren’t as stupid as you want them to be.
